Our Story
There are two sides to every story, and ours both begin in a high school hallway. If you ask Nancy, she saw Mykel down the hallway after school and thought he was her saving grace. Mykel was just minding his own business until he got pulled into the theatre classroom.
It started out as two kids back stage prepping sounds for a play and goofing off. It evolved into two nerds in a tech booth so nervous to get their cues right. Now 10 years later... they're tying the knot. After many rollercoasters that have challenged them and put everything to the test, they have laughed, cried, and enjoyed all the fun moments and lessons learned. Who knows where this next chapter will lead them? Hopefully to Hawaii if they play their cards right.

The cocktail hour will be held following the ceremony on the Private Island. Dinner will follow back at the resort.
The wedding ceremony will start at 5:00 PM on April 27th 2026. Please arrive at the dock by 4:15 to be ferried to the island for the ceremony. The trip is approximately 2 minutes from one island to the next, however, the boat only has capacity for 7-8 people at a time.
The RSVP deadline is January 26th, 2025. Please RSVP on the wedding website.
Because this is a destination wedding, anyone who would like to travel and celebrate with us is more than welcome to do so for the duration of the trip. However, due to limited capacity for our ceremony, we will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed out on your invitation for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Additional guests are welcome to join us back at the resort after these festivities for dinner. We appreciate your understanding and support with making our wedding day special!
We will have a room block for our guests booking at the Couples resort. Please call the group booking line at 1.800.268.7537 and mention you're booking with a wedding group (Colleen McQueen-Kerr our group coordinator can also be reached at ext.1412 if there's no one at the main line). Our group code is: 618408. If you are not planning on staying at Couples, feel free to book your hotel at your own pace.
If you are booking at Couples, or Moon Palace there is opportunity to fly in to Montego Bay (or other major airports in Jamaica) and be shuttled to your resort. For those staying at Moon Palace, further inquiries can be made to toursandtransfersjamaica@palaceresorts.com
Colorful & comfy! We don't expect anyone to be in a full suit, or try to navigate bringing expensive and bulky clothes. Spring palette is preferred, but not expected if you're unable to find anything that speaks to you. Please be fashionably you - the ceremony is on a wooden deck, so there will not be sand. (See images below if you need inspiration)

Your presence is more than a gift! We are not expecting any physical items, especially with international travel. However, if you do feel so inclined to provide something, we will have options to donate to our honeymoon available during the trip.
